Coach's Clinics
Philosophy
All Pro Baseball Group strives to educate and train coaches to determine what is most important to help kids develop on the baseball field-as players and as individuals. Coaches are taught the key fundamentals for success; and, most importantly, coaches are taught "how to teach." Knowing the technical aspects of the game is only a part of being a successful coach. Knowing how to effectively communicate with players will improve motivation, confidence and self-esteem; therefore, coaches will get the most out of players while keeping the game fun.
Learning how to develop players' skills in a positive environment is a crucial component of coaching at any level. All Pro Baseball Group clinics are designed to provide coaches at all skill levels the best professional instruction available.

All Pro Baseball Group coaching clinics provide coaches a foundation of fundamentals, and train them "how to teach" these fundamentals on a gradient scale, so players can understand and apply their instruction to the game. Coaching clinics will simplify for your league what is most important to teach at different ages and levels, and how to filter out all the clutter that is otherwise being taught to kids. Whether it's a rookie coach just learning or a veteran coach with years of experience, this clinic will be invaluable.

- Keys to setting up practices and running them efficiently, so all players will enjoy their experience on the field.
The coaching clinic provides the assurance that coaches are trained to develop kids correctly.

Get everyone on the same page-
Each manager and coach will receive Drills and Instruction for Coaching Success, the All Pro Baseball Group coaching clinic manual. This manual will ensure that coaches will not forget the instruction they have received at the clinic. The manual will also keep coaches' terminology consistent from one level to the next and limit confusion for the players. This is not only a valuable reference throughout the season, but a must for maintaining a clear belief on how to teach the game of baseball throughout your league.
We teach your coaches how they should be teaching the kids-
This is a "hands-on" clinic. We encourage and utilize active participation by coaches and teach them fundamentals and drills step-by-step. This "hands-on" approach will help coaches retain and recreate
what they learn at our clinic, so they can teach it at their own practices.
Coaching Clinics
Areas covered during the coaching clinic:
- Proper progression of teaching and how to instruct in a positive and encouraging environment.
- Hitting: Fundamentals, drills and batting practice routines.
- Pitching: Fundamentals, drills, pitch count, selecting and developing a pitcher and weekly throwing routines.
- Throwing: Fundamentals, drills and building arm strength.
- Infield: Fundamentals, drills and multiple fielding practice routines.
- Receiving: Fundamentals, drills, glove size and glove care.
- Practice Planning: How to organize and effectively run practice from pre-season to season end.
- Critical fundamentals to achieve at each age and level of play.
- Coaches Do's and Don'ts: Psychology of coaching, Parent-players and umpire issues.
- And much more from situational baseball to cut offs and relays
All Pro Baseball Group offers a multitude of clinics depending on your desires or needs.
STANDARD CLINIC
This program provides your league with 5 hours of instruction. It can be scheduled for 1 weekend day or performed over 2 weekday evenings. Up to 75 books are included with the clinic.
Recommendation: Coaches broken up into two groups-coaches of the 7-10 age group attend for 2.5 hours and coaches of the 11-15 age group attend for 2.5 hours. (This is our most popular program)
EXTENDED CLINIC
This program provides your league with 7.5 hours of instruction. It can be scheduled for 2 weekend days, or performed over 3 weekday evenings. Up to 100 books are included with this clinic.
THREE HOUR CLINIC
This program provides your league with 3 hours of instruction. Up to 50 books are included.
Recommendation: All levels of coaches attend for the 3 hours.
TWO HOUR CLINIC
This program provides your league with 2 hours of instruction. Books are not included, but are available for a special purchase price of $10.00 per book at the clinic. (This clinic is popular with leagues looking for specific areas of instruction. Choose your skills for 2 hours. Example: hitting & pitching)
T-BALL CLINIC
This clinic is for coaches and parents coaching the T-ball level. Clinic length is 1.5 hours.
Books are not included but are available for purchase for $10.00 per book.
